Moms and daughters of all ages are invited to join the city of Lompoc Employee Development Association (EDA) Third Annual Mother and Daughter Afternoon Tea, 2-5 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at Dick Dewees Center, 1120 W. Ocean St.

The theme is a Disney Princess Tea Party, and those attending are welcome to wear attire befitting royalty.

Highlighting the event will be appearances by the EDA’s five Flower Festival queen candidates, and honored guest 2019 Flower Festival queen candidate Kailyn Chui. Chui will be singing with all the princesses at the tea.

The afternoon will also feature games, photo booth opportunities, and activities.

The tea is a fundraiser for EDA scholarships and part of the proceeds will to toward the EDA queen candidate and four of the Flower Festival queen candidates.

Advance ticket purchases are necessary for the popular event, and tickets will not be sold at the door. Ticket prices are $25 for adults; $15 for first child; $10 for additional children in the adult’s immediate family.
