A fire caused significant damage to at least one room at a residence in the Cuyama Valley early Wednesday. 

Firefighters from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department were dispatched at 3:45 a.m. to the fire at a home on the 4800 block of Morales Street in New Cuyama, according to fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli. 

An aggressive attack by firefighters kept the flames to one room, Bertucelli said.

Photos from the scene show signficiant fire damage to the structure.

One resident was displaced by the blaze, but no one was injured, he said.

The cause of the fire remained under investigations on Wednesday, Bertucelli added.
