The Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara will host At the Table: Jewish Women in the Culinary Arts, an evening exploring the intersection of food, culture and identity with a panel of Jewish women in the culinary world.

The event, which is free to attend, will be 6 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the Adam Bronfman JCC, 524 Chapala St., Santa Barbara.

The panel will include Rachel Greenspan, owner/founder of Bettina and Tina’s Pizza; Leyla Williams, founder of Good Seed Coffee Boutique; and Debra Goldman, owner of Carp Kitchen.

The discussion will highlight the stories behind the recipes, the challenges, and joys of running food-based businesses, and the enduring role of Jewish women in shaping culinary culture.

Light bites and refreshments will be offered after the program.

Part of the Ghitterman-Rose Family sponsorship, the next food series will be in September.
