The first-round matchups for the CIF-SS boys tennis playoffs were released on Monday, and four local teams will be competing for a CIF title.

Here are the opening matches for those hoping for a deep run in the postseason.

San Marcos was a dominant force all season long, rattling off an 18-4 overall record and a perfect league mark on their way to a Channel League title.

The Royals will compete in the Div. 1 playoffs and play host to Mira Costa (12-6, 3rd in Bay League) in the first round on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Dos Pueblos finished behind San Marcos in the Channel League standings after putting together a solid 13-4 regular season.

In the Div. 2 playoff opener, the Chargers will be on the road against Newbury Park (12-5, 2nd in Marmonte League) on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Santa Barbara High rounded out the top three in the Channel League with a 9-6 overall record, earning a spot in the Div. 3 playoff bracket.

The Dons will also hit the road for their first-round matchup when they take on Capistrano Valley (11-6-1, 1st in Sea View League) on Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Carpinteria High turned it up for the league season and came away with a Citrus Coast League title after a regular season with a record of 11-5.

As a league champion, the Warriors will host Schurr (7-5, 3rd in Almont League) for the opening round of the Div. 5 playoffs on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
