A GoFundMe account has been launched to help the family of a 32-year-old Lompoc woman found dead along Harris Grade Road last week.

Santa Barbara County sheriff’s detectives have labeled the death of Jazmine Diane Montague as suspicious.

Deputies were dispatched at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday to the 4700 block of Harris Grade Road on a report of a possible deceased person.

Montague’s body was found off the side of the road.

Although they declared her death suspicious, detectives have not released information about the cause or circumstances of how she ended up there.

Montague was “a devoted daughter, granddaughter, sister & mother who tragically left behind three beautiful children,” according to the GoFundMe post.

The funds raised will be used to provide “the farewell she deserves,” organizers said.

“Jazmine was a cherished mother, daughter, sister and a loyal friend,” the post says. “She touched the lives of everyone she met with her infectious smile, warm heart, unwavering love and comical sense of humor.

“Jazmine’s sudden departure has left her family with a hole in our hearts, and we are committed to ensuring that the circumstances surrounding her death are brought to light.”

As of Sunday evening, the site had raised more than $4,200 toward the $10,000 goal. Click here to make an online donation.
