Villa Majella of Santa Barbara will hold its Autumn BBQ fundrasing event, 5-8:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Since opening in 1982, Villa Majella of Santa Barbara has supported hundreds of women ages 18 and older in their decision to carry their babies to term under difficult situations, whether they choose to personally parent or lovingly select an adoptive home.

Through its maternity home program, Villa Majella equips and empowers pregnant women, providing a safe, supportive and structured living community, pregnancy care, educational programming, and guidance to ensure stability during pregnancy and beyond, the organization said.

The fundraising event will include a Santa Maria-style barbecue, live music, silent Auction and raffle.
