The next live stream from the State Street Ballet will be an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s classic “The Jungle Book,” choreographed by artistic director Rodney Gustafson, with an original score by Czech composer-conductor Milan Svoboda, which will stream at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at CYA.Live.

That is tomorrow as I write this (this information only arrived in my inbox a couple of hours ago). It is unclear whether these live streams will be archived afterward in some user-friendly site.

Therefore, since time is short and access to this live stream is more complicated than with Camerata Pacifica or the Santa Barbara Symphony or the Music Academy, I will simply give you the link to the pertinent information and suggest you click on it: https://mailchi.mp/statestreetballet/national-audition-tour-begins-this-weekend-2855012?e=c494e2674f.

“In addition to watching the full-length performance, you can engage in real time discussion with host Rodney Gustafson and lead dancer Francois Llorente — all in the comfort of your own home,” says State Street Ballet. “Don’t miss it! To participate, you must use Google Chrome as your browser and sign up at the Cya Live platform prior to 5 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on July 22.”
