Paseo Nuevo will host its annual Halloween Monster Mash, Saturday, Oct. 29 in the mall’s Center Court. Community members are invited to attend the free family-friendly event, and wear their spookiest, sparkliest costumes as they search for sweet tricks and treats.

The event offers kids a chance to dress up in their costumes and trick-or-treat in a safe environment. Participating retailers throughout Paseo Nuevo, as well as other downtown businesses, will be handing out candy, while supplies last, from 3-6 p.m.

Participants can take a stroll down Paseo Nuevo’s version of a haunted house — a creepy corridor decorated with all things spooky. In addition to trick-or-treating, guests can enjoy inflatable decorations and a Halloween-themed float.

BOO-gying is encouraged, as there will be a live DJ playing Halloween tunes in Center Court for a costume dance party. Prizes will be randomly handed out to the best dressed costume wearers, and the first 300 kids to arrive (ages 4-11) will be given a backpack with candy.
