Allan Hancock College is inviting new fall students and their parents to attend Hancock Hello orientation events in Santa Maria and Lompoc.
 
The college will host Hancock Hello, 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the Lompoc Valley Center, 1 Hancock Drive; and 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the Santa Maria campus, 800 S. College Drive.

Hancock Hello is open to first-time and returning Hancock students, and their parents.

Attendees can take a tour of the campus, learn about student clubs and organizations, and enjoy free food, music and prizes.

Students and parents can also attend workshops focused subjects such as academic counseling, financial aid, and transferring to a four-year university.

The workshops and tours will be offered in English and Spanish.
