The Wishing Trees are back at the main Santa Maria Public Library, 421 S. McClelland St., offer patrons the opportunity to write down a hope, wish or dream for the upcoming year.

Patrons are invited to hang their wishes on a tree and read what others have written.

Located on the library’s first floor, the trees are available during the library’s regular hours of operation throughout December.

The library continually reimagines its services to offer an array of programs and resources that move beyond traditional library services to welcome everyone for improved quality of life through lifelong learning, increased activities, and positive community connections.
