The Community Environmental Council (CEC) will present it next Embodied Arts Workshop — Sensory Storytelling: Cultivating Connection and Compassion — Tuesday, Oct. 27 with speaker Elaine Gale.

Through sensory storytelling practices, reflection and conversation, participants will explore how stories can connect us with one another, the natural world, and ourselves, organizers said.

The program will explore the essential elements of a well-told story and consider how the stories individuals carry reflect their shared humanity.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a journal with them.
