The Lompoc Beautification and Appearance Commission has announced revamped judging criteria for its 2023 Lompoc Holiday Decoration Contest. Community members are invited to help spread holiday cheer in Lompoc by decorating their homes and businesses.
Nominations will be accepted starting Wednesday, Nov. 15 until the day of judging on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Nominations of residences and businesses within Lompoc city limits with outdoor holiday decorations are welcomed for consideration. Businesses will be judged separately from residences.
Prize winners will be selected by the Lompoc Beautification and Appearance Commission judges.
Judging categories for 2023 include:
A Simple Christmas — Classic Christmas Designs
A Shining Star —The Brightest/Most Lights
Coastal Christmas —Beachy California Vibes
Homemade Holiday – Handmade Exterior Décor
