The Lompoc Police Department partnered with the Lompoc Parks & Recreation Division to host this year’s Junior Police Camp, providing local youth with an interactive experience focused on public safety, teamwork, and community engagement.
Camp participants learned about law enforcement through hands-on activities, team-building exercises, and positive interactions with Lompoc Police Department personnel, camp organizers said.
“The week was filled with learning, laughter, and memorable experiences that helped strengthen relationships between our officers and the young people in our community,” organizers said.
“The Lompoc Police Department remains committed to building positive connections with our community’s youth, and we look forward to offering more opportunities like this in the future,” the department said.
