Laguna Blanca’s theatre department will present three performances of the crime caper “Clue” Jan. 17-19 in Spaulding Theatre at Laguna Blanca School, 4125 Paloma Drive, Sata Barbara. Show times are 7 p.m. Jan. 17-18 and 2 p.m. Jan. 19.

Based on the 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, “Clue” is a farce-meets-murder mystery.

The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects.

Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up.

Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave audience members trying to figure out who did it, where, and with what.

Directed by performing arts instructor Dana Caldwell; production design by Richard Croy, Flynn Brady, Payton Jackson, and Zack Lillie-Liberto.

Ticket costs are $12 students and seniors; $15 general admission. For tickets, visit here.
