The Land Trust for Santa Barbara County is seeking volunteers to help support its public programs. Informational sessions will be held Jan. 17 virtually, and Jan. 20 in person at Arroyo Hondo Preserve on the Gaviota Coast.
Opportunities include children’s nature programs as Arroyo Hondo Preserve docents, joining the trail maintenance and restoration crews, and leading hikes and nature activities across the county under the Treks Program.
The Zoom session on Jan. 17 will be 7-8 p.m. The Jan. 20 session will be 11 a.m.-noon, followed by an optional docent-led hike, noon-1 p.m.
