Launch Pad will host its 2026 Summer Reading Series this month, featuring new works by playwrights Julia Izumi and Megan Tabaque, Thursday, Aug. 27 at The New Vic 33 W. Victoria St.
The event, which is free to attend, is presented in partnership with Ensemble Theatre Company, allowing audiences to view the two new plays before they receive full productions.
The plays are “Banana Factory” by Izumi at 4 p.m., and “The Rink at the End of the World” by Tabaque at 8 p.m.
