Leadership Lompoc Valley will graduate 11 participants in a ceremony, 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, May 17 at Dick DeWees Community and Senior Center, 1120 W. Ocean Ave.

Over the past year participants in Leadership Lompoc explored Lompoc and networked with local leaders through a series of hands-on topic days incuding: agriculture, public safety, local government, media and communications, education, business, military and aerospace.

Topic days featured speakers, expert panels, and tours of local businesses and agencies.

The class, which is part of the Lompoc Valley Chamber, consists of professionals from diverse background and sectors including Toyota of Lompoc, NASA, Route One Farmers Market, city of Lompoc, Lompoc Valley Medical Center, Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization, Lompoc Hospital District Foundation, and the Santa Barbara County Supervisors office.

Cost to attend the graduation is $35 per person and includes a full course meal catered by Porky’s BBQ. Registration to attend the event is open through Friday, May 3 here.
