The community is invited to join Explore Ecology for a beach cleanup at Arroyo Burro Beach (Hendry’s Beach), 10 a.m.-noon Sunday, June 8. 

Participants should meet in front of the Watershed Resource Center at the beach to sign in and get supplies, or bring your own supplies. No RSVP is needed.

The family friendly cleanups are self-guided. Volunteers can choose to clean the beach, parking lot, or surrounding open spaces.

While there, Explore Ecology suggests stopping by the Watershed Resource Center to explore interactive displays and learn simple ways to protect our local creeks and watersheds.
