Enrollment is now open for youth boxing camps this summer for ages 8-17, Lompoc Parks and Recreation has announced.

Youth boxing camp will run for five days, Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28, 10-11 a.m. for beginners, and 1-2 p.m. for intermediate level at Dick DeWees Community and Senior Center, 1120 W. Ocean Ave.

Cost to attend camp is $100 for Lompoc residents, $120 for non Lompoc residents.

The camp with Coach Anthony Zepeda will instruct students on basic boxing fundamentals, such as stance, basic punches and combinations, footwork, and the beginnings of self-defense.
