On Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 2-3:30 p.m., the Lompoc Library is hosting its next children’s gardening program in the Grossman Gallery of the library. Children ages 8-12 are invited to learn what plants need to grow in a fun and creative way.

The class will be taught by special guests from the UC Master Gardeners of Santa Barbara County, the UC Master Food Preservers of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties, and CalFresh Healthy Living UC Cooperative Extension.
The Lompoc Library offers children’s gardening programs on a quarterly basis and several times over the summer. The next program will be in April.
