The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce is asking business owners, employers and community leaders of the Lompoc Valley and its neighbors to fill out its Open for Business survey.
The survey can be found on the Lompoc Valley Chamber’s Covid-19 Resource Page, ww.lompoc.com/covid-19.html, along with the Lompoc Valley Chamber’s list of local restaurants that are offering take-out, delivery, or online options, or have had to close temporarily.
Responses to the Open for Business survey will be posted with live updates for correct and current status, and will be available on both the Lompoc Valley Chamber website and Facebook page.
The Lompoc Valley Chamber has also taken the lead on gathering data from businesses on how Covid-19 has affected them. The Covid-19 Economic Impact Survey, also available on the Covid-19 resource page, asks the public valuable questions on what measures businesses have had to take to remain open, or what has caused their closure.
This data can be potentially used for economic and legislative relief on local, county, state or federal levels, especially as the coronavirus crisis develops.
Business owners and employees can find valuable resources on the Covid-19 Resource page such as:
» Daily webinars on how to support your business and your mental health during Covid-19:
» Direct links and resources to navigating the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBS) loans.
» Information for employees on their rights (in English and Spanish), and PDFs, presentations and flyers that give an easy-to-read, step-by-step process on what can be expected of SBA loans, the CARES Act, Paid Family Leave and more.
The Covid-19 Resource page also has information for individuals and families looking for answers. It lists nonprofits offering assistance and volunteer opportunities for organizations supporting the local area.
It has direct links to news from the city of Lompoc, Lompoc Valley Medical Center, Lompoc Unified School District and more, as well as live twitter from Central Coast news channels KSBY, KEYT, KCOY, FOX 11, as well as Santa Barbara County Public Health Department.
The Lompoc Valley Chamber is constantly keeping the community informed by utilizing its direct contacts on local and county level with factual updates via the Lompoc Valley Chamber’s facebook page, e-blasts and website.
