As American Riviera Bank (ARB) expands its presence on the Central Coast, Marian Lavagnino has been named the vice president/banking relationship officer, serving ARB‘s new Santa Maria commercial banking center.
Lavagnino brings 40 years of experience in the banking industry where she held various roles at banks in the Santa Maria area, including Mid-State, Rabobank, and Mechanics.
She has an extensive background in all aspects of banking operations, but her specialty is customer service.
Lavagnino believes, while many positive changes have occurred in banking over the last four decades, large national banks have forgotten the need to value and foster personal connections between a customer and their bank.
She said she is excited to begin her new role concentrating on retaining, expanding and bringing new relationships to ARB in Santa Maria.
“Having Marian on our team gives us the opportunity to deliver a true community banking experience to Santa Maria residents and businesses,” said Renee Howard, ARB’s Vice president/SBA manager.
“She has given so much of her time and talents to the local community, and that makes her uniquely qualified to be an influential voice for ARB in the area,” Howard said.
