The Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau has named Melanie Lindley as its new executive director, and Amanda Mansfield as communications director.

“Their experience, energy, and commitment to our community mark an exciting new chapter for the chamber,” the chamber said.

“With this strengthened leadership team, we are even better positioned to champion local businesses, deepen community connections, and drive economic vitality throughout the Lompoc Valley,” the chamber said.

Lindley brings experience in aerospace, military operations, and community management.

She most recently served as a Certified Community Association manager, overseeing a multi-regional portfolio from Santa Barbara to Monterey.

Her background includes nearly a decade at United Launch Alliance supporting bi‑coastal launch operations, as well as service in the U.S. Air Force as a maintainer, shift supervisor, and instructor.

She holds a B.A. in business administration from the University of La Verne and is skilled in contract negotiation, inventory control, and team leadership.

Mansfield joins the chamber with a background in community association management, housing operations, and corporate support.

She is recognized for her organization, communication skills, and ability to manage high‑volume responsibilities with professionalism and care, the chamber said.
