Participants in the Solvang Century Bike Ride will use portions of the state highway system in Santa Barbara County, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 2.
The event allows riders the choice of a 52-mile, 68-mile or 101-mile route.
Riders will use portions of the following state highways in the Buellton, Lompoc, Orcutt and Los Alamos areas:
· Highway 1
· State Route 135
· State Route 246
No road, lane or shoulder closures are permitted. There will be signage along the route informing the public of this event. Travelers in these areas should be aware of these participants.
