The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department will offer new adult enrichment programs and evening hours in the new year at the Elwin Mussell Center, 510 E. Park Ave.
Classes start Tuesday, Jan. 7. Classes include:
Night Owl Knitters: Tuesdays, 5:30-7 p.m.; bring your latest projects and enjoy some yarn therapy with others. All skill levels are welcome.
Adult Pickleball: Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. and 5:45-6:45 p.m. This indoor pickleball program is designed to promote physical fitness, mental health, and social engagement.
My Artistic Self: Offered 6-6 p.m. every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. Participants can enjoy this free hands-on art program to create artwork with others.
Adult programming is open to anyone 18 years or older and requires preregistration.
