Dr. Bryan Emmerson will be joining the Orthopedic Surgical Practice in Santa Barbara on Aug. 1. Dr. Emmerson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knee and hip replacement.
He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering in 1998 and received his doctor of medicine from the UC San Diego School of Medicine in 2004.
Dr. Emmerson completed his orthopedic residency at the UC San Diego Department of Orthopedic Surgery in 2010. After his residency he completed a one-year fellowship in total joint arthroplasty at the Anderson Orthopedic Clinic from 2010-11.
Dr. Emmerson moved to Santa Barbara in 2011 to join Sansum Clinic where he practiced as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint arthroplasty, August 2011-July 2019.
He and his wife Lindsay have four children.
