The Santa Barbara Zoo will toast the return of the Roar and Pour wine-tasting event, 5-8 p.m. Saturday, May 6, with a VIP hour from 4-5 p.m.

Humans are free to stroll through the zoo, sipping from their wine glasses along the way, while the zoo animals get to stay out late.
Attendees will have unlimited tastings from the region’s leading wineries, as well as have an opportunity to feed the giraffes, ride the zoo train, and have exclusive access to zoo grounds after hours. Guests can also take home a souvenir Roar and Pour 2023 wine glass.
Because the success of Roar and Pour is due, in part, to donations from the zoo’s local partners. more wineries are being sought to participate. Interested wineries can get more information here.
All proceeds benefit the Santa Barbara Zoo animals. Tickets can be purchased online here. General admission tickets are $95 and VIP tickets are $130.
VIP ticket holders will enjoy early entry, animal encounters and appetizers. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase. The event is for those ages 21 and older.
