Santa Barbara County is blessed with a diversity of vital nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the health, well-being, growth, civic leadership and compassion of our community.

Charitable giving and philanthropy are part of our identity, which is why Noozhawk is proud to support the nonprofit community through sponsoring local community organizations and events.

To showcase our support as a sponsor of the event, A Toast to Home. Noozhawk spoke with Liz Adams, Regional Director at PATH Santa Barbara to learn more about their upcoming event.

Question: What is the name and date of your event?

Answer: A Toast to Home Santa Barbara will be held on Thursday, May 30th at the Santa Barbara Historical Musuem.

Q: What is the mission, goal, and/or theme of this occasion?

A: A Toast to Home will shine a light on the incredible work of PATH Santa Barbara and raise funds to support our vital services that help our unhoused neighbors in Santa Barbara make it home.

Q: Have you held this event before?

A: This is our third annual celebration. We were delighted to partner with Sunstone Winery in 2022 and 2023 and this year we are looking forward to hosting the event at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.

Q: Tell us some more details about your celebration?

A: A Toast to Home will celebrate another year of innovation and collaboration in supporting our unhoused neighbors in Santa Barbara. The event will feature local flavors from Catering Connection, exquisite wines from vineyards like Sunstone Winery, Fess Parker, and Grassini Family Vineyards, and live music by guitarist Rob Crocker. We will also have an incredible silent auction!

Q: How do people get involved with your event? (volunteer, attend, etc.) – If your event includes ticket sales, please note the price and include a link to purchase tickets.

A: We invite guests to purchase a ticket to attend for $150. You can also make donations directly to PATH to support our year-round work; both can be done HERE.

Q: Is this a fundraising affair? If so, how will the funds raised help your organization?

A: All funds raised at the event will go toward PATH Santa Barbara’s programs including interim housing, street outreach, housing navigation and supportive services. PATH provides services to over 500 individuals each year and annually helps more than 100 people make it home.

These sponsors make this event possible, and we are so grateful for this community of supporters.

Q: Do you work with an Event Planner? If not, who are the key people who make it all happen?

A: This event is made possible through the support of PATH board members, staff, and volunteers. Our statewide Special Events team, PATH Santa Barbara staff and key board members work closely together to create an incredible and inspiring evening in support of our mission to end homelessness.

Q: Does your organization have any other upcoming events this year?

A: As a statewide organization, we are celebrating our 40th anniversary this year and will be hosting a gala in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 9th.

Q: What are you planning as a post-event follow up?

A: After the event, we’ll send out an email to all attendees with photos from the events and additional ways to support PATH Santa Barbara.
