As a part of its Music at the Library series, the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society will present a special engagement with pianist Suri Kim, 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8 in Shepard Hall of the Santa Maria Public Library.

Kim will perform pieces from Bach, Beethoven, and Rachmaninoff.

“At just 15 years old, Kim’s performances are distinguished by dynamic interpretations, exquisite phrasing, and impeccable technique,” the Philharmonic Society said.

“Whether she’s illuminating the musical classics or navigating the complexities of modern high school life – Suri’s sensibilities allow her to connect with her audience on a profound level, creating moments of shared beauty and transcendence,” the the Philharmonic Society said.
