Radius Commercial Real Estate will be taking over retail leasing responsibilities for Paseo Nuevo Mall, with efforts led by Miles Waters, Michael Chung, Austin Herlihy and Chris Parker, Radius has announced.
Radius’ new leasing approach will provide retailers short-term leases, offering them a chance to explore the location without long-term commitments.
Paseo Nuevo Mall will continue to offer 24/7 security, small business cohorts, and event marketing to foster a collaborative, supportive, and vibrant environment for tenants, Radius said.
With roots in the Santa Barbara community, Radius said it is “focused on supporting small- and mid-sized businesses, artisanal brands, and unique local concepts that align with Santa Barbara’s distinctive culture. Currently, more than 50% of Paseo Nuevo’s tenants are local.”
Additionally, Radius said it is creating opportunities for community-driven retail that showcases local talent and entrepreneurship.
The brokerage’s strategy includes initiatives such as small business cohorts for networking and shared marketing and event promotions to draw both local and tourist foot traffic.
