Registration is open for winter and spring classes at Allan Hancock College. Winter classes start Dec. 12 and run for six-to-eight weeks; and startng Jan. 23 the college will offer more than 1,000 spring classes.

Tuition fees are set by the state at $46 per unit for California residents.
 
Winter courses include the areas of accounting, computer skills, business, film, anthropology, and history, the majority of which are offered online. Spring classes run 8-17 weeks, and are offered in in-person and online formats across a range of degree and certificate programs.

Eligible students who have not already done so are urged to sign up for the Hancock Promise Plus. The Promise Plus provides students with free tuition regardless of residency through the 2022-23 academic year, including the upcoming spring semester.

Lompoc students are also encouraged to learn more about Hancock’s LVC degree programs, which allow students to earn degrees in business, math and science, psychology, and social and behavioral sciences exclusively at the college’s Lompoc Valley Center.

Hancock continues to offer resources and support services for students, including financial aid, academic counseling, free tutoring, free food, and free textbook borrowing.
 
The college will also offer several noncredit Community Education classes this spring. These free classes, which also begin Jan. 23, include noncredit English as a second language (NESL), citizenship, GED/HiSET exam courses, workplace skills classes, and classes for older adults.
