Blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Chris Cain will headline the Santa Barbara Blues Society’s 47th Birthday Show, 7 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Carrillo Recreation Center, 100 E. Carrillo St., Santa Barbara.

Cain’s latest release is his Alligator Records debut CD, “Raisin’ Cain.” Cain has more than three decades of worldwide touring and 14 acclaimed previous albums. His jazz-informed blues guitar playing is fiery, emotional and always unpredictable.
