The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department has released the Fall/Winter Recreation Guide, which provides a comprehensive overview of programs and events for residents of all ages throughout the season.
The guide features a variety of activities, including art programs, fitness sessions, sports, and community events.
Residents will find information on new programs and seasonal events such as Día de los Muertos Festival, Lights, Sights and Holiday Nights, the Community Christmas Tree Lighting, and the Machado Plaza Holiday Winter Market.
Opportunities are available for youth, teens, adults and families.

Printed copies are available at the Recreation and Parks Department administrative office, 615 S. McClelland St. Office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
While most programs and events are offered at low or no cost, financial assistance for registration fees may be available for qualifying individuals and families through the Recreation and Park Department’s partnership with People for Leisure and Youth, Inc.
