The Santa Maria Public Library offers a variety of monthly book clubs for adults with meetings held in the library’s Learning Loft, 421 S. McClelland St.
Patrons interested in participating in the book clubs may register by visiting the library’s online events calendar or by calling 805-925-0994 ext. 8562.
Book clubs include light refreshments.
- The Valley Reads will explore “How to Say Babylon” by Safiya Sinclair; 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.
- For fans of contemporary romance fiction, the Flirty Fiction Book Club will discuss “Love Your Life” by Sophie Kinsella, 5:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11;
- For those wanting to read and discuss literature focused on LGBTQIA+ authors, characters and themes, Rainbow Reads Book Club will discuss “Pageboy: A Memoir” by Elliot Page, 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22.
- Novel Nightmares Book Club will not be meeting for November.
