The Santa Maria Community Development Department is preparing the Draft Objective Residential Design Standards, which establish design regulations for new residential and residential mixed-use buildings.

For the community to participate and provide thoughts on the draft design standards, and so the city can learn about what aspects of residential project design matter to local residents, the Residential Design Standards document is posted online at https://www.cityofsantamaria.org/home/showpublisheddocument/32091.

Community members are invited to review the document and provide feedback using one of the following methods by Thursday, May 30.

· Take the Objective Design Survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GHYTRKC.
· Email comments or questions to Frank Albro at falbro@cityofsantamaria.org.
· Mail written comments or questions to Frank Albro, principal planner
110 S. Pine St., # 101, Santa Maria, CA 93458.
