The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department has issued its Fall-Winter Recreation Guide that includes a diverse array of activities tailored for all ages, including, creative art programs, fitness sessions, sports, and community events.
The guide features new programs, classes, and information on upcoming fall events, such as Active Aging Week, DÃa de Los Muertos, Light, Sights, and Holiday Nights, and other celebrations. Activities are available for youth, teens and adults, including aquatics, sports, art and fitness.
The recreation guides are available, in English and Spanish, at select Recreation and Parks offices and on the city website www.cityofsantamaria.org/recreation then click on Upcoming Events.
While a number of classes, programs and events are offered at low or no cost, financial assistance for registration fees is available for qualifying individuals and families through the Recreation and Park Department’s partnership with PLAY, Inc.
