The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce, which spans Goleta to Carpinteria, will host the annual State of the County address, 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort.
The State of the County will feature presentations from Third District Supervisor Joan Hartmann; Mona Miyasato, Santa Barbara County executive officer; and Peter Rupert, UCSB Economic Forecast Project director.
The event is presented by the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce in partnership with all the chambers of commerce in Santa Barbara County — Buellton Chamber of Commerce, Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, Santa Maria Valley Chamber, the Santa Ynez Chamber, and Solvang Chamber.
The State of the County provides an opportunity for businesses to hear important updates from county leaders. The information presented is key to inform businesses and community members about the current economy and issues being addressed in local government.
Attendees will hear a comprehensive update on the changing business landscape, a review of the past year, and a look ahead.
