The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department and People for Leisure and Youth (PLAY), Inc. have announced the return of the free Concerts in the Park Series.

Concerts will be held 1-3 p.m. on select Sunday afternoons, July through September, at Rotary Centennial Park, 2628 S. College Drive, or at Acquistapace Park, 1921 S. Western Ave. (adjacent to Jimenez Elementary School).

The family friendly events, which showcase a variety of music genres, is free for the community, thanks to sponsors Driscoll’s, Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria, Rotary Clubs of Santa Maria, city of Santa Maria Utilities Department, Toyota of Santa Maria, Honda of Santa Maria, and Community Bank of Santa Maria.

July 24, Ghost Monster – Rotary Centennial Park
Aug. 14, Babylon Rockers – Acquistapace Park
Aug. 28, Brass Factory – Rotary Centennial Park
Sept. 18, Noach Tangeras – Acquistapace Park
Sept. 25, Steppin’ Out – Rotary Centennial Park
