Thirty of Santa Barbara County’s top wineries will serve tastings, chefs will serve appetizers, and Grammy-nominated musicians will play jazz in a downtown park at the 17th annual Los Olivos Jazz and Olive Festival, Saturday, June 10.

Singer Denise Donatelli will again lead her all-star A Team band of Los Angeles musicians, 1-4 p.m. in Lavinia Campbell Park.
Local makers of olive oil and related products will also be offering free samples and sales of their wares.
Tickets are on sale at www.jazzandolivefestival.org or by calling 805-245-7142.
“With some wineries charging as much as $40 for a single tasting session, the all-inclusive price of $100 for this festival is the best bargain you will find,” said festival chairman Dave Bemis.
The festival is the one event each year where Los Olivos Rotary raises money for its extensive community service. Over the last 16 years, the club has raised more than $500,000, with no administrative expenses, for both local and international projects.
Examples include emergency boxes at local schools; food for local seniors and veterans; scholarships for local students; support for local libraries and the arts; home construction in Guatemala; and humanitarian relief for Ukraine.
