Price, Postel & Parma has announced that Shannon DeNatale Boyd is now a partner with the firm.
Boyd’s practice focuses primarily on education law, employment law, civil litigation, and public entity representation. She acts as general counsel, handling a variety of matters including employment and labor for public entities as well as private clients.
Boyd also has practiced civil litigation from pre-litigation consultation to resolution, including discovery, law and motion, mediation, trial, and writs and appeals. Her background in civil defense gives her the advantage of spotting issues early on for both potential plaintiffs and defendants, and the corresponding skills to resolve these issues.
Boyd, who lives in the Santa Ynez Valley, received a B.A. in psychology and Italian studies (magna cum laude) from UCSB, and her J.D. (Order of the Coif, cum laude) from Santa Clara University School of Law.
