About 200 community members attended the SMV Wedding & Quince Showcase Nov. 26 at the Santa Maria Fairpark Convention Center.

Some 30 event vendors specializing in weddings, quinceañeras, and other events displayed their wares. Vendors included caterers, DJs, jewelers, florists, event designers, event planners, photographers, and a concierge childcare service.

Santa Maria Fairpark offered viewings of the Park Plaza and the Fountain Pavilion to patrons looking for a venue for their event. Epic Entertainment, Inc., provided sound for the showcase.

Emcee for the show was from Epic Entertainment. DMQ Catering offered samples of its carnitas, meatballs and scalloped potatoes, and JB’s Jewelers was on site providing custom engraving.

A free raffle was held every hour of the showcase where attendees could win door prizes donated by all of the participating vendors. Door prizes included gift certificates, wine, gift baskets, and a guitar signed by Uncle Kracker.
