Solvang Theaterfest has named Kathryn Rohrer to its Board of Directors. She brings experience in law, governance, grant writing, and strategic planning to the board.

A Los Olivos resident since 2018, Rohrer has built a career focused on advocacy, education, nonprofit leadership, and community service.

“Kathryn’s professional background, combined with her genuine passion for our community, makes her an incredible addition to the Solvang Theaterfest Board of Directors,” said Chantel Green, executive director of Solvang Theaterfest.

“Her experience in governance, grant writing, and strategic planning will help strengthen our mission as we continue preserving this historic venue and expanding opportunities for our community to enjoy exceptional live entertainment,” Green said.

As the 2026 season continues, Solvang Theaterfest’s Summer Music in the Garden Series offers music from vintage jazz and swing with the Amanda Castro Band to legendary cowboy tunes with Dave Stamey; bluegrass from Salty Strings; roots Americana and blues rock with the Shawn Jones Big Band Projec; and the timeless songs of Joni Mitchell performed by Dreamland Band featuring Kimberly Ford.

The season continues into the fall with two main stage events Mad Caddies on Friday, Sept. 4, and comedian Dennis Regan on Friday, Sept. 11. Tickets and the complete event lineup available at SolvangTheaterfest.org.
