Solvang Theaterfest has appointed of four individuals to its Board of Directors: Dr. David Seltzer, Harvey Green, Don Conner and Bill Keese.
Dr. Seltzer is a retired head and neck surgeon with a medical career spanning Los Angeles and Solvang.
During his decades of service Dr. Seltzer served as chief of surgery at Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital, and was honored as Physician of the Year.
Since retiring, he has remained active in the community through organizations like the Vikings of Solvang and the Valley Clean Team.
Dr. Seltzer has lived in Santa Ynez since 2007.
Green is an educator with some 35 years of experience at Santa Ynez Valley Union High School, where he chaired the Social Studies Department and taught Advanced Placement courses.
He has played pivotal roles in various educational initiatives at UCSB, focusing on writing and technology integration.
Green has served on several boards of directors, including the River’s Edge Estates Homeowners Association and Manzanita Public Charter School.
Conner is an executive with some 25 years of corporate and consulting experience across multiple industries, including real estate development, construction and hospitality.
A graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business, he has held key positions at major corporations like the Atlantic Richfield Company and the Walt Disney Company.
Conner is currently the owner of two hospitality businesses in the Santa Ynez area.
Keese is a senior software executive with global leadership experience in acquisitions, enterprise software development, and SaaS environments.
As the former senior vice president of research and development at QAD Inc., he led strategic product direction and global expansion efforts, contributing to the company’s significant growth.
With a background in business systems and programming, Keese has also held senior roles at Hughes Aircraft Company and Raytheon.
Keese has lived in the Santa Ynez Valley for 39 years. He holds a degree in business administration with a concentration in management information systems from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
Solvang Theaterfest’s fall lineup includes the Eli Young Band, Sept. 10; and An Evening with Kevin Nealon, Sept. 18.
On Oct. 5, the inaugural TheaterFestival will feature a day-long street festival followed by a special screening of the family musical “Wonka.”
The season concludes Nov. 3 with a concert featuring KT Tunstall and Shawn Colvin Together Onstage.
