In search of the perfect theme for 2024 Santa Barbara County Fair, the Santa Maria Fairpark and Valley Art Gallery have set up a County Fair Theme and Art Contest that is now open for entries. Deadline to submit entries is 5 p.m. Sept. 30.
Division finalists will be selected from the following four categories: Adult Division (ages 19 and older); Senior Youth (ages 15-18); Junior Youth (ages 14-10); and Children (ages 9-5).
Each division finalist will receive a $100 gift card to Michaels crafts store, and will go on to the Grand Prize selection.
The Grand Prize winner of the 2024 Santa Barbara County Fair Theme & Art Contest receives a $300 gift card to Michaels and four season passes for the 2024 County Fair.
Contestants should submit their fair theme idea and original art depicting their concept to the Santa Maria Fairpark. The 2024 Santa Barbara County Fair will be July 10-14 at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
