Parents of tweens or teenagers may wonder how to stay sane during this stage of roller-coaster emotions and high stress. To offer some advice, Providence School in Santa Barbara will host a free talk by Jeramy Clark and Jerusha Clark, authors of “Your Teenager Is Not Crazy: Understanding Your Teen’s Brain Can Make You a Better Parent.”

The event will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 14 at Montecito Covenant Church, 671 Cold Spring Road.

“Knowing the truth about what is happening inside your adolescent’s brain can give you greater compassion and equip you to make better decisions,” said the Clarks, who are the parents of two daughters.

The Clarks, who believe parents and families can actually thrive during this time, will share tips that combine the latest neurological research with the principles of Christian faith.

Providence School, which serves preschool-grade 12, presents programs and speakers to the community with information beneficial to parents.
