The Theatre Group at SBCC is pleased to announce the shows for our 81st season.

First up will be the musical “Anything Goes,” July 10-25, 2026 in the Garvin Theatre, music and lyrics by Cole Porter, original book by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse, new book by Timothy Crouse & John Weidman.

All aboard for one of the most beloved musicals of all time where a love-sick stowaway faces a host of obstacles on the race to romance. A crew of sailors, chorus girls, millionaires, a preacher in tap shoes and public enemy number 13 all pitch in to help him and prove that true love is just one dance step away. It’s delightful, delicious and de-lovely! Featuring classic Cole Porter songs such as “I Get A Kick Out Of You,” “Blow Gabriel Blow” and “You’re The Top.”

In the fall we will present “Clue” from October 9-24, 2026 in the Garvin Theatre. Based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, written by Sandy Rustin, additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price, based on the Paramount Pictures Motion Picture, Based on the Hasbro Board Game CLUE.

It’s a dark and stormy night and a group of strangers (emphasis on the strange) have been invited to a mysterious dinner party. Each of the guests has a secret, the butler has all the weapons, and the host is, well dead. So whodunit? You’ve played the board game, you’ve seen the cult classic film, now watch the action unfold live as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock and Mustard race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before he finds them. “Clue” is a madcap comedy that will keep you laughing and guessing until the final curtain.

In the spring we bring you “Enchanted April” on March 5-20, 2027 in the Garvin Theatre, by Matthew Barber, from the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim.

A romantic comedy that is as lovely and uplifting as the best spring day.

Frustrated by London’s rain and their humdrum lives, two English housewives make the sudden choice to escape their malaise by renting a wisteria-covered villa in Italy with two other very different English women and eventually the men who love them.   There, in the Mediterranean sunshine, all four bloom again – rediscovering themselves in ways that they could never have expected.

The spring show in the Jurkowitz Theatre will be “Mrs. Christie” by Heidi Armbruster, April 16-May 1, 2027.

In 1926 Agatha Christie vanished, then reappeared eleven days later without explanation. It was a tabloid sensation—a mystery that, nearly a century later, remains unsolved. Fast forward to today: More than a little lost herself, a Christie superfan named Lucy makes the pilgrimage to the author’s estate. When she happens upon an unpublished diary written in Christie’s own hand, Lucy resolves to crack the case once and for all. In parallel storylines that blend past, present, and Poirot, Mrs. Christie proves that sometimes you need to disappear in order to find yourself.

Season ticket prices for 4 plays range from $96 to $124 depending on the day of the week.  Season subscribers receive a 10% discount over single ticket prices.
