The season opener for Westmont Baseball has been postponed due to a forecast of two inches of rain on Thursday.
The Warriors were set to take on the Rangers of Regis (Colo.) but will have to wait until Friday’s doubleheader to open up the 2024 season.
The two teams will meet up in doubleheaders on both Friday and Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on both days.
Prior to the game, Westmont will dedicate the new stadium seating and Eldred Family Press Box.
In addition, the 2023 Warrior squad will be honored in a ring ceremony commemorating their NAIA World Series Championship. The pregame ceremonies will begin at 10:30 a.m.
