United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County (UBGC) is collaborating with Vitalant to offer four opportunities to donate blood at three of their sites. Vitalant will be using its mobile trucks to set up for a day at different UBGC sites for community members to give blood.

One blood donation can save up to three lives. UBGC says it’s important for the community to know that donating blood can help save a family member, a friend, a newborn baby or mother.

Dates and locations of the blood drives are:

Wednesday, July 31, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Goleta Valley Community Center, 5679 Hollister Ave.
Wednesday, July 31, 1-5 p.m. at Carpinteria Boys & Girls Club, 4849 Foothill Drive.
Thursday, Aug. 15, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Westside Boys & Girls Club, 602 W. Anapamu St., Santa Barbara.
Friday, Aug. 16, 2-6 p.m. at Westside Boys & Girls Club, 602 W. Anapamu St., Santa Barbara.
