Vaccinate Lompoc: Family Is Essential, a virtual information session addressing the COVID-19 shots, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3.
The webinar is hosted by the Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization (LVCHO), American Association of University Women (AAUW) Lompoc —Vandenberg Branch, Lompoc Valley Medical Center (LVMC), Health Linkages, and Herencia Indigena.
Viewers will be offered access to learn more about vaccination education, COVID-19 information and community testimonials. Lompoc Valley physicians will answer questions from the public submitted during registration.
The session will provide information about safe and effective vaccinations and answer concerns members of the public might still have about COVID-19 vaccinations.
Ashley Costa, executive director of LVCHO, will moderate the virtual event, and Dr. Van Do-Reynoso, Santa Barbara County Public Health Department director, will provide a short presentation to open the session.

The Vaccinate Lompoc webinar will have live interpretation in English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and closed captioning. Participants are eligible to receive one of 25, $25 local gift cards in a giveaway.
The event will be live-streamed on Facebook in English @healthylompoc and in Spanish on the Sbc Lompoc Promotores Facebook page.
