Ventura County will hold a free Career & Resource Expo 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 in the main courtyard of the Ventura County Government Center, 800 S. Victoria Ave., between the Hall of Administration and the Hall of Justice.



Participants will be able to explore an array of career opportunities in fields such as county administration and support, engineering, environmental protection, planning, agriculture, health care, law enforcement, public safety, public works, recreational services, and technology.

Representatives from the county’s Human Resources Department and most county agencies and departments will be available to discuss career paths, hiring processes, benefits, and the advantages of joining the county workforce.
